Babylon 03:04
Shake it out, shake it loose Soul suicide in a three piece suit You only do what they expect you to Is that a necktie or a noose? I call it Babylon, you call it downtown Worship the beat from your place on the ground You'd like to think that it's the only way out Who's the poor bastard now? //All I want is the one thing you can't give// So give it to me Sky scraper's got it out for you Neon eyes under a plastic moon You can't escape with rocket shoes Is that a necktie or a noose? I can't remember what my heart was for Don't need a face of my own anymore Kiss a mouth you've never kissed before Born a nun, just to die as a whore // - // Boom sha I hunt like the wolf Confusion entered the flock I'm singing boom sha I howl like the wolf I'm illusion and I'm in the flock

The Villain 03:40
I'm so tired of being a good boy And trying to make it right I just wanna sit back and enjoy Some skin deep in the late night Cuz I'm a badass Sexier than thou I'll make a pass Don't ya wanna be mine now? //Cuz I'm the villain In the 21st Century I've been killin' I'm a hero who's broken free I don't care what you want, don't care what you need I'll be leading the parade right down your street Cuz I'm The Villain, cheer for me In the 21st Century// I'll gladly wear a mask If it improves upon my face I'm sitting up at the top of the class All the well-intentioned in disgrace // - // The Villain's the hero now I'm on the front page of the news Nobody wants to hear about Some stuck up little goodie two-shoes Because all of you are villains Born with a gleam in your eye I've got an ego the size of America, yeah Everything I've got is mine I thought everything I bought was mine //Cuz I'm the villain In the 21st Century I've been killin' I'm a hero who's broken free We're celebrating psychosis There's a special on TV All about villains, yeah, in the 21st Century//

It's getting loud in here, baby, ain't it? Just a bit I've had my eye on you for a while now, I've got to admit I've watched you dance off your pain, and drink in excess Baby you look like disaster but you smell like sex I've been around the bar for an hour or more Sucking back vodka shots and eyeballing the dance floor Smothered in a haze of smoke and regret Accidentally recalling moments that I'd rather forget You got these robots making dead music for all these drunken half dead souls I'm watching shiny plastic pop try and kill Daddy Rock n' Roll The music punches you in the jaw, with a syncopated beat Which pumps you up as it announces your defeat But hush now baby, it's just you and me So wrap me in chains and tell me I'm free
4.
Scattersoul 03:46
This is a song without a spiritual message For your entertainment, you've become infected I'm a jackle in a black leather jacket That's it, a master of sexed-up deception Reflections, in a mirrorball, scattershot Scatterbrain, scattersoul, shake what you got I'm a king, I'm a horny robot No soul, no reason, no purpose, no God I'm a magnet for the opposite gender I probably won't remember you, but bask in my splendour I'm cool, I'm a card-carrying member A defender of every big spender And I'm addicted to nothing but addiction Restrictions are an unwelcome friction I'm a mercenary without a mission No black, no white, no moral confliction //Face like a plastic bruise, it's overused No matter how you play, you're gonna lose No wars were won with a truce And no murder mystery gives you the clues// Conquest can't stop for a rest The next best dressed man wins the contest Only the weak believe in the blessed And only a freak could justify poetry Forgery is more of an art to me Pretenders, presenters and originality Performance is a break from the ordinary Every day the world sees the same lie of me It's kinda free, but it ain't genuine Pig gotta belly ache cuz "pearls before swine" If it's our time then we're too late Cuz only a hero tries to outlive a grave // - // Bless progress. That's us, I guess Do no work, get famous and rich Collateral damage is someone else's mess We are the future, and the present's our bitch

Think Bigger 00:33

Tell me you ain't lying, and I'll tell you what I'm for My heart has started beating, a little faster than before This is just another love song, as if love was all we need Tonight I think the stars just might be playing games with me So take me where you're going, and I'll tell you where I've been I won't take up all your time, if you just let me in So I don't feel like //Just another lover in a glorified machine And I can't help thinking they must be making money off of me// Tell me what you came for, did you come to watch me crack? You promised me that you'd be mine once you stabbed me in the back Now we're advertising our arguments and marketing our grief And the fairy tales have lied to us in return for our belief //And we are just a couple lovers, in a corporate machine And I can't help thinking that they must be making money off you and me//
7.
Some walked out Sun went down I found myself In a heap on the ground I smell gasoline See a busy street Lose myself Try to find me //You came to me like a slap in the face Now I'm alive In an instant it all snapped into place You opened up my eyes// Some talk about Some go without I've switched sides But I always come back around Sweet fire burns My head turns Dance lover, dance Dance for my return // - // Blue eyes, won't you come back? Won't you stay where you belong? My heart unfolds I realize that you were right, and I was wrong, I was wrong // - //
8.
The Stir 02:57
I went to a place where nobody knew my name Hitch hiked to a city where nothing was the same I wanna clean break from my pride and my shame So I went to a place where nobody knew my name //Here's the stir// I killed off the hip hop and cranked the rock and roll Traded pedicures and a mask for hang nails and a soul So, are you still drag racing white limousines? Or do you realize that life in the city of lights was never exactly quite what it seemed? // - // So I lost my weak knees once they buckled and hit the floor And I finally tasted peace once I had started a war I could finally see once I'd gotten three black eyes in the ring And all the vultures overhead sound like children when they sing // - //
9.
Throw my boots on the dirty floor Too tired to open the closet door Been a long shift Been a rough week Living life in a rat race behind the scenes Sleep, don't dream, we're born to bleed Expendable apes, we are what we eat Magazine, TV, Internet, Celebrity You know what I mean? I'm the low class citizen, can't you tell? Building heaven while I'm livin' in hell You've disenchanted me with your red carpet fantasies If we're all equal then how come you're more equal than me? Why do we worship these counterfeit kings and queens? They're just the airbrushed, overpaid minorities They get to live big, we get to watch 'em fall Shocked to find out that they're no better then us at all We do the work We write the bills For you and your mansion And your gutful of pills We are the engine That gives you your steam And keeps you young Like we wish we could be We watch the shows We see the ads We buy the clothes Don't question the fads We've let you tell us how it should be But now I've got a baseball bat and you're on TV Every concert hall's a cathedral Every theatre's a church Where you practice your religion And sacrifice your self worth Can I get an amen?
10.
You drifted off on the job again Even though they're open, your eyes are dead You're watching TV on the Internet Letting the WiFi run through your head /You don't know you're asleep 'till you're awake And you break out of the dreams that you create You don't know you're asleep 'till you're awake these days/ //You know it's a monumental lie, but you can't remember when You started to pretend that your life was just a game Where everyone's the same, and everyone's to blame For all your public flaws, and all your private shame// You're locking horns with your demons now You're picking locks on open doors You're chasing after a feeling now Something you ain't never felt before / - / // - // You don't know that you're dead 'till you're alive And your eyes open up to the bright sunlight You don't know that you're dead 'till you're alive, these days // - //
11.
Doncha think it's getting darker around here? Seems like the sun keeps setting sooner every day Doncha think it's getting harder to fight the fear That your past is getting harder to replace? Well I think you know it's difficult to live without you My gentle little ball and chain Nobody else has ever felt insidious like you Nobody else could have made me so insane //I can't decide Where all these memories are coming from I remember I was chewing on cyanide In a ball of bubble gum// I guess they all might start to get suspicious If I never make my way back to the scene But these days I feel much less superstitious Then I did when you had got your teeth in me // - // Now I think that we can all just stop pretending You didn't come here cause you missed my face If it's a battle you want, then it's your lucky day Because I'm just about to jump from grace City streets bathed in sunrise red All the bad guys have dragged themselves away Every honest worker is asleep in bed And I've survived to live another day
12.
I can't erase the feeling We're being watched tonight You won't catch me believing that you came alone to fight I have caressed the darkness My forked tongue has tasted light Your suitcase heart and charmed existence Give it up, fight resistance //You gotta wake up in your soul, baby Untie your heart and let it go// Dig down to your switchblade soul Tragedy's a miracle A tear will always chase a fold Get yourself a microscope Because every man's a rebel now Raised hands raise my eyebrows Honest lies, sincere disguise, open eyes acclimatize // - // I want the truth Nothing less What buried you And stole consciousness? // - //

Velvet Sky 06:30
Sweat falls from your face, you try to concentrate Think fast, your fingers are numb Defuse the bomb, and unwind the spell You've got no time left to spend on memories Please, please You were born of night and storm, with a dagger in your cloak You went for my heart, not my throat Hold your tongue and light the fuse Innocence is something we can't use And ignorance is no excuse //There are eyes in the shadows, and bullet holes in my heart We move like whispers, we run like mad, beneath a velvet sky// They've got eyes everywhere, and ears to the ground Don't let yourself make a sound Climb the stairs to the top floor You know they wait behind the door The cold steel weighs you down, but it strengthens your soul The sleepless nights have taken their toll Reach through the wires, and choose black or red Disarm the lies you've been fed // - //

about

October 2014. A small group of gentlemen gather in an empty country chapel, and quietly transform the basement into a studio. What follows is a crazed rollercoaster of sleepless nights, fresh coffee, and suitably loud amps.

What we emerged with is something we're beyond proud of. Style & Soul. Thirteen tracks of raw, raucous rock and roll. We're so excited to let you all hear this album. We truly hope you like it.

Much love,
Grant, Randy, Johnny and Liam
